New Castle Historical Society Events

  • June 12, 2003
    Dutch House Garden Party, Thurs., June 12, 2003, 5:30-7:30, 32 E. Third Street. Public is invited, call 322-2794 for reservations, $15.

  • May 17 - July 21, 2003
    Exhibit at Amstel House, FANtastic Accessories, featuring fans from the Society's textile collection, May 17 - July 21, 2003. Tues.-Saturday 11-4, Sunday 1-4. 

  • November 26-December 31, 2003 
    Colonial Holidays in New Castle. Amstel and Dutch Houses are decorated for the holidays. At the Dutch House, guests learn about St. Nicholas' Eve, traditionally celebrated December 5th each year. The Amstel House exhibit explores how colonists celebrated in the 18th century.
