STATE AUDIT
According to Finance/HR Manager Marian C. Delaney, the State of Delaware, Office of the State Treasurer, recently conducted an audit of City records to include Police Grants (EIDE & SALLE), Police Pension Funds and Municipal Street Aid funding. Special thanks to Police Chief McDerby, Lt. Adam Brams and Finance employees (Bud Waraksa and Pat Romano) for their assistance. Mayor Klingmeyer will be receiving documentation from the State that the audit has been completed.
HR UPDATE
Finance employee Bud Waraksa is recuperating from surgery and will return to work in September. In the interim, Pat Romano has assumed payroll duties and Melissa Tank is assisting the office.
